This may sound like a strange combination, but it sure was a hit with the kids!
Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup butter or margarine
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
¾ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup frozen or fresh raspberries
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg until smooth. Mix in milk and vanilla. Pour into flour mixture. Stir just to moisten. Fold in chocolate chips, then gently fold in raspberries.
Line muffin tin with muffin papers, fill each muffin paper ¾ full with batter.
Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.
Yield 15 muffins
